call to worship
one: we come from the darkness of night to the light of day
all: we come from yesterday to walk into our tommorrows
one: we come from our place in time and space to worship God
all: let us in this moment see God; alpha and omega; the beginning and the end
one: for God is a lamp to our pathway, and a light to the world
all: lets sing praises to His name

prayer:
O God of new beginnings, instigator of christmas and new years...start something new in me
reopen my soul to hope
heal my wounded body and spirit
so I might walk a new path
in friendship with you

so may this time of worship be
a time of newness for each of
us gathered here AMEN
