When I feel the despair
that comes from broken
promises in my life

I remember O God that your promises do not fail

When I feel the lonliness
that comes from a sense
of failure and rejection

I remember O God that your love is sure and unchanging

When people and events
in my life seem frightenly
out of control

I remember O God that all things are under your control

When I do not understand
the reasons for the
difficulties I face

I feel confident O God in your divine wisdom

I praise You Lord and thank you that your promises, your love and your power sustains me in the most painfilled times through Jesus Christ my Saviour

Benediction

Now to God who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine
according to the power that is at work in us
to God be the glory in the church
and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations
forever and ever
amen



GOD'S AID
God to enfold me,
God to surround me,
God in my speaking,
God in my thinking.

God in my sleeping,
God in my waking,
God in my watching,
God in my hoping.

God in my life,
God in my lips,
God in my hands,
God in my heart.

God in my sufficing,
God in my slumber
God in mine ever living soul,
God in mine eternity.


May there be peace within you today. May you trust

God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.

May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.

May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love
that has been given to you.

May you be content knowing you are a child of God.

Let this presence settle into our bones, and allow your soul the
freedom to sing, dance, praise and love.
