Tales from the Turf Stories of Redemption in the Innercity
This section has been a long time in the making. After two decades of serving the poor, Susan Brandt remembers a time she approached an elderly man who after a short chat said to her, "Well there you go... I have given you all I have got, my name and my story."
What an honor and sacred privilege it is to be entrusted with the oral history of an overlooked and forgotten people. Here in "Tales from the Turf" you will read their stories. You will share their joys and their sorrows as we travel together down the alleyways of the inner-city to meet poets, prophets, saints and sinners.
Herein lies the museum of many people who live in our hearts. Their names have changed but their stories are true. PLEASE NOTE
